When thinking of my animal within, the first thought that entered my mind was of a bird. I admire how free and beautiful they are. I've been inspired by the many tiny colorful birds in the area and always find myself hoping to see something new. This bird represents those that I've seen in my imagination and in reality.

The techniques that I used include: felting, bead embroidery, and a bit of wirework.
