Within each of us is a spirit that defines who we are. I identify with the mythical dragon that is intelligent, strong and malevolent because these are characteristics I admire. A book series, "Inheritance", by Christopher Paolini, featuring a sapphire dragon was the inspiration for my blue dragon.
