Introduction to Peyote Stitch

Teacher: Marilyn Grock

We will make a cuff bracelet using Peyote stitch.

Feel free to bring your preferred materials listed below if you wish.

Kit Materials:  1 tube each of cylindrical seed beads in contrasting colors; one 3-strand tube clasp (or any style clasp).  Note on seed beads: Suggest size 8° Delicas or #3 Toho Treasures, though any size cylindrical bead will work well.  Keep in mind that the smaller the bead (and higher the number), the longer it will take to produce your bracelet, and the smaller the bracelet width will be.  Rounds with 'inside color' like silver-lined or 'white inside' can also work as well as any size 8° round seed bead.

($5.00 kit fee to be paid to Marilyn at time of class.)

Materials available for your use during class:  Fireline thread, cutters, needles, and a beading mat.
